It’s like crack. First time I tried it was some really cool place in the east end with a coffee. I had three servings of the stuff.
Microwave rice these days is very good. Unless you actually know how to cook rice properly. Most people don’t.
I've been trying loads of random **** lately.. Fried potatoes with a thai green curry paste works really well.. Stir fried noodles, but use the Tom Yum paste, gives a nice kick...
It's easy enough to cook anyway. Soak in cold water for an hour or so before hand. Rinse then add it to boiling water and simmer for however long the packet says (no longer). Drain in sieve/colander, rinse again with hot water and stand for five mins before serving. Ta da, boiled rice. What's a rice cooker do?
Usually just a long grain rice....but i find boiled rice one of the most boring things on earth...i always end up frying it something.
Yeah but you would get the same result lobbing a few spoon fulls of sugar onbit as you would syrup. I think we can agree that whilst you are kind of right I’m actually right.
One of the benefits of the microwave stuff, apart from how convenient it is. All sorts of varieties. I usually buy the spicy Mexican stuff, it's really good. Simple at work, 2 mins in a microwave.
I don’t like rice. It’s just dull. I learnt to cook rice from a cook book. It said to whatever depth of rice was in the pan have double the depth of water. Bring to boil then simmer til no water left. Strain then cover and allow to steam then serve. Makes it fluffy.
Get yourself a bird from that part of the world. They’re absolutely stunning in their 20s. By the time they’re 40 they’re the size of an F-Pace. Why? Those ****ing pastries and sweet coffee. No, my wife is British. Unfortunately.
I love fried rice. Take it you only use cold cooked rice? I used to make it wrong and started frying the rice then added beaten egg. Then watched Saturday kitchen with the ken hom and he did the egg first then added the rice, When my mrs makes it she does the onion and chicken then eggs then rice.
