There was a vegan activist demo at an event I was trading at yesterday. They call it the ‘cube of truth’ and stand around in those anonymous masks with a laptop showing films of slaughter houses. At least two of them were wearing leather DM’s and another with sheepskin lined boots. They could have been synthetic I suppose, but more than likely not.
A few years ago, my company's graduate intake included a young lady who was a very vocal vegan. My colleague, her boss, pointed out that she was dressed from head to toe in dead animals, which as you can imagine didn't go down too well. She reported him to our HR department for bullying
No point. I just found your comment amusing, not in an unkind way. It's good to support local independent businesses, reason i made the remark is i know someone who bought oranges from a local veg stall the other day. My humour was just like, well they sound a local fruit indeed.
Looks like the household is being put on a diet. The mrs has been batch cooking for two days a week of diet food.
Tonights menu, Sweet chilli chicken Small pan fried potatoes with thai green curry paste. Egg noodles, which i'm gonna quickly fry of with onions and mushrooms, with some tom yum paste, for a bit of a kick. Desert is a bit boring, peaches with summer fruits ice cream
Sounds even better..But i cook for one, and basically wing it.. I ****ing love cooking, I just become lazy cooking for myself.
I would, but it'd be a bit of a waste. I'm one of these people that doesn't tend to eat what's left later.. I usually have good intention of doing, but 9 out of 10 times it ends up in the bin
Terrible. I’d have a left over roast the next day. Then if it was a chicken use the cooked chicken and make a chicken and sweet corn risotto
