Crappy supermarket Thai fish cakes. Gave them a bit of life by drenching them in a fresh lime, garlic, ginger, red and green chilli, basil and spring onion dressing.

 

Salmon fillet, mini roast spuds and brocolli this evening.
Been pescatarian so far this year.

Apart from the bacon butty on new years day of course.

 

Steamed Cod loin with some peas, leaks and broccoli, mash and a cheese sauce that was minging. Fish was good though.

Sounds dreadful.

One of my worst childhood dinners was cod in a parsley sauce. Was right up there with really dry liver and onions.

 

it was fresh fish from the fishmonger ffs

I tasted the sauce and didn’t use it.

 

Serves you right for buying stuff of a fish *****.
