The pub kitchen had blown a fuse or something so they had no food on. The landlord offered us the option of ordering in a curry or Chinese but we ended up in Nando's! Not exactly the plan. The food in Nando's is fine, it's the drink that's rubbish. Sagres in bottles. Small bottles. Absolutely rank. Had to have a bottle of Merlot instead. No idea why a restaurant cracking on it's Portugese didn't have a Douro option. The Haloumi sticks starter is bloody lovely there.
i was given this yesterday, my mates Mrs made it for me. Its a Xmas cheesecake. Its got sweet mince, brandy. And its ****ing superb, ..the picture probably won't do it justice, but its really good..
Had some venison chops last night, slow cooked for about 8 hours I think. Probably the best chops I've ever had in 58 years!!!
10oz Rib eye with chips, peas and pepper sauce just consumed. Three pints of Bah Humbug and some sticky toffee pudding and the jobs a good un.
I'm so dissapointed in this thread now.. was half expecting some decent pics today...what a let down.
