Scotch eggs..

Watching masterchef, and they have to make runny yolk scotch egg

wtf...

a runny scotch egg, that would mean it;s hot.

Ive never tried this.

 

Just had three bean and lentil chilli with spicy Mexican rice.

Had a good veggie day; porridge with prunes for breakfast, butternut squash and chilli soup for dinner and the 3 bean chilli for tea.

Would have been a vegan day probably but the grated cheddar.

 

wtf man.

that ain't food. How can you survive?

 

My son makes them at his restaurant. They're bloody lush mate!!!

 

Hot and runny?

 

Yeh, with a sprinkling of sage salt.

Tbh, his aussie mate chef at his last gaff made better ones

You'll never eat a cold scotch egg again after eating a hot one mate

 

It was mate, trust me. Got to have occasional meat free days.

I was contemplating a veggie November but it's unfair at home. Also can't lie, love that cooked breakfast of a Friday!

Will try pescatarian again in January. Bollocks to giving up booze but I'll sack meat for a month.

 

Eat with what, pickle?

 

I have no set diet

I just can't see where i'd get enough from eating veg and wheat etc

 

Its just a bar snack Comm, served on its own. And quite filling!!

 

i know what a scotch egg is man.

 

Warm slightly runny scotch eggs are the best way to eat them.

 

So what the **** you talking about pickle for?

 

because 99% of the population have never had a hot scotch egg ffs.

We (Asians) have what ua called a nargis kebab

Which is basically egg in mince but eaten hot
