It’s a brilliant business model, they should have rolled it out years ago. Grub is very traditional, very good and well priced, booze is quite pricey, decor is on the money. The place is always packed, as are all the others apparently.
For peak times yes. Their lunch/early evening set meals are good value, which is what we tend to have as we take the kids. Last night I had Bang Bang Chicken and then Hoisin Crispy Duck for £16.50. Both were excellent. My father in law and I drank a lot of wine and I was paying for 6 which inflated the bill but that’s not compulsory.
Cobham not London. Where the Chelsea training ground is hence the frequent sightings of twatty Chelsea footballers. We also go to the one in Wimbledon Village which is also very nice.
My eldest lived in Wimbledon for a couple of years, nice round there. Can’t say I’ve ever been to Cobham.
Wimbledon is nice. The Village is really nice. Cobham is overrated. It’s nice enough but the Chelsea training ground popping up there has impacted it and not in a good way. They really should do a Housewives of Cobham/Oxshott series. Toni Terry and her fake tits could present it.
Going out to a very nice gastro pub for lunch. Not that arsed about Sunday roasts but this place does a boss Sunday lunch. Might even have a cheeky pint, then back for the match.
