Spent a lot of time in Bristol waaay back when I had a girlfriend there in Lockleaze. Good night out in the right place.
There's absolutely nowhere to park your fookin car for a start!! I would guess house prices are very expensive too. Ended up in some Greek shebeen type place last night, all the girls jigging about to mad music. They were lovely too, most of them. Out the back was this riverside patio and the Pulteney Bridge was all lit up just up the river. Very nice!
Yeah sounds familiar. I wanted to go north for uni, **** knows why looking back. I had never been north of London, except to watch or play football before uni. Ended up going to Leeds and did absolutely nothing for 3 years apart from go out. Was a great time. Couldn't settle there though, would probably have carried that same attitude towards a job and been fired a lot.
Lockleaze is alright, I've lived in the centre the whole time I've been here. Some good nights out, but like anywhere you need to know where to go/avoid.
The reason I live where I do is because I didn't leave after college. It's known as the graveyard of ambition, you never leave!
Isn’t that from twin town? I like Swansea. Enjoyed my couple of jaunts down there. Shame your mrs hasn’t buggered off on holiday without you again, thus enabling a few days of golf.
Apparently, but not actually 100% confirmed. Twin Town just used a long standing tag line about the place, it certainly wasn't first used in that film.
Shepherds pie or cottage pie? Had shepherds pie last night. Was ace. Randomly put leeks and courgette in it.
One of my favourite dishes. Mine's very spicy when I make it, but at the moment I can't eat it. Everythings vegan at the minute. But that could be about to change soon.
Bone idle bait today for work, as i couldn't be bothered to make much. So its gonna be 2 mince and onion pies, 2 double deckers and a litre of fresh orange juice..Proper lazy bastard.
Being sensible and staying in tonight. Am making a prawn and crayfish cocktail. Lamb shanks with roasted garlic and rosemary new potatoes, trimmed green beans and a bucket of gravy.
