Having my final cold can of Kronenbourg red before roast chicken dinner.

Brought three trays of Mahou green back though, very nice.

A fine froggy red with the meal.

Was nice yesterday. Today been windy and overcast. If it’s like this tomoro I shall be vomiting in the boat coming back.

You'll be right.

Buy some La Vieille Ferme wine on the boat.

Both red and white are cheap as **** and very drinkable. Think it works out about £2.50 a bottle and, for that, it's decent.

I got two boxes of each.

Plus six boxes red and two of white Rioja in Spain. <yikes>

Just had 6 pints and went for pizza.

I opted for fish pizza...

It may sound nice, having freshly caught prawns, mussels and scallops on it eh?

I thought so too.

****ing wasn’t.

On the plus side I had some foie gras to start which was amazing.

So the whole country not vile then, good to know!

Hell of a pint Pelforth. Very nice when ice cold.

Has this weather missed Normandy? It's mid October here.

Interestingly tonight I’ve realised that the town I’m staying was saved by the Royal Marines in an epic battle. Heavily outnumbered. They held on for a couple of days til the yanks from Omaha got here for the first joint allied fighting.

I’ve also realised that the men in the town pretty much are very pleasant when they realise you’re English.. the women on the other hand continue treating you like they’ve scraped you off their shoe..

I can only assume their grandparents fell for a marine and got left with a babby.

****ing dirty marines.

I once remember they were called legalized thugs. During the Ireland thing by some mp.

Oh how we laughed.

Kebab wrap for me tonight

Went for a curry last night.. arse is in tatters this morning..

Also went to a new smokehouse restaurant Wednesday. Was tremendous. Had a massive amount of meat.

Have they gone yet?
Some go tomorrow. I thought they were all going at the same time but I heard one of them mention doing something on Tuesday.

I went for a slash when the bill hit the table this evening.

Fair play for lasting a week, I’d have broken by about day 4.

Haha, if they’re staying FOC at Chez Stan for a week, then they should expect to pick up the tab when you go out.
