It’s rainy season until October but the first few weeks have been promising despite the rain. Morning trade is vibrant with the expats but the evening trade is 95% Thai and that’s picked up this week.
We are planning a proper opening night party in early October with live acoustic music but plan to have music 5 nights a week.
Don't forget my invite. I love a good bowl of slop. Glad it's going well pal Ima order some fried chicken tonight.
Been to a food market this morning. Had an applewood smoked sausage hot dog. Was tremendous. Also bought a load of artisan pork pies. Got one with pork and black pudding, a normal one and one with cheese and chutney in. Will try them tonight. And have just been for a carvery.
Beef steaks seasoned in garlic and herbs for me and Skye tonight. One of the guys who has a shop next to me sells game meat, I never knew. I'll be trying all that out over the next few weeks.
All I've seen is pheasant, deer and wood pigeon. That was a quick glance tho, looking forward to having a proper look tomorrow
