Leg of lamb, on the bone. Marinaded in butter, paprika, crushed cumin seeds, salt and garlic. Slow cooked for 5 hours. They ate the lot so I reckon it was pretty good. Just drank a post dinner bottle of claret. I deserved it.
I only have a lunch on Sunday, otherwise it's dinner. On a Sunday dinner is at tea time. We should maybe start a thread on this, what you reckon?
I just had pan fried seabass with veggies and rice for my DINNER, was quite nice considering it was me who cooked it. My T-shirt stinks of fish though, so that's the last time I'm making fish indoors this year.
Also having fish but this is Cod fillet in bread crumbs with a jacket spud and some coleslaw. For tea of course.
Had a weird lunch yesterday, Turkey and stuffing sandwich but served with roasties and a giant Yorkshire pudding and gravy.
Pre-made is a luxury I don’t have here but it’s bang simple to make. 250g flour, 150g shortening, lemon juice, salt.
