Never been a great fan of Pizza , but if I am going to have one , I like the thin crust ones . I like to be adventurous , so Ham and Pineapple for me , with just a touch of brown sauce !
Had a chicken balti pie for the first time in my life today. Pie and a pint, £7.50 at the match! ****ing bargain. For the Liberty, it was actually pretty good. The taste might well have been improved by the fact they weren't surprised to see customers at half time and it took them less than half an hour to serve me.
We ate at the 3 Rooms tonight in Bedford. We both had lamb shanks. She finished hers, I managed half. Awesome food!! And far cheaper than we expected! Great night!
2 bacon and sausage butties. 4 bags of crisps. a full pack of crab sticks. 2 yoghurts and a strawaberry cheesecake. washing it down with some beer, (on number 5 now) Quick snack. Gotta be back up early, back to work for a 12 hr shift. Oh what joy.

I only eat two times a day which is breakfast and an evening meal. I find it difficult to eat more as I’ve got older and can’t eat the volumes I did in my 20’s and 30’s.
Made a lovely casserole, wrong time of year but I fancied it. Tossed the beef in flour/ Fried off the beef in oil black pepper and cumin seeds. Fried diced carrot onion and garlic added some left over cherry toms 1/4 bottle of red reduced by 1/2 beef back in cover in stock and cook for 4 hours pearl barley in for the last hour then chopped parsley and chopped crispy bacon at the end.
Basically the introduction of sesame oil, cornflower and beaten egg whites which gives it that marvellous marbled effect garnished with spring onions.
Just had chicken chasseur, broccoli and roast new potatoes. Was meant to be my tea but I had it for dinner as couldn't be arsed/have no time to go to buy something.
