Fair play, you can't beat a stew. Us too, probably not mash though. Ideal now winter is here. ****ing weather, the rain has stopped, the clouds cleared and now it's ****ing brass monkeys. Got some dark ale in the fridge. Probably be too bloody cold now, winter ale should be more air temp than refrigerated. Might have to just guzzle cold Kronenburg instead.

    Sky Sports 2

Which means that, in TV terms, the League Cup is still more important than the Europa League <ok>

Sealed in the frying pan then finished off in the oven. Very nice too, not over done and not pink, which would be wrong for pork. Still had trifle left over from Sunday so finished that and have just ruined it by having a pack of Wotsits!

Do you cover them in tin foil in the oven?? How long in there?

I always over do chops as roast them uncovered as want the rind crispy, but to do so makes the chop dry..

I didn't cook them, she did. Uncovered though.

Very crispy and not dry, I would put it down to pure pot luck to be honest! I reckon they didn't dry out as I had the foresight to turn them, thus infusing them with their own juices.

    On a school night too!!

I also feel like **** but I think it's a bug. Bastard, bet it's a full flow over the weekend.

I can not ****ing wait to get home tomorrow evening, as the fourseomes end and the four balls start. Great weekend promised, Ryder Cup all the way with a bit of morning golf myself on Saturday or Sunday. United v Spurs of course.

Think I'll have a curry saturday, it's been too long.

Spinach and squash curry for tea. Sounds interesting, lacking meat but interesting.
