They have chicken and beef sausages. Who cares? I couldn’t really order the halal breakfast and ask them to swap the bacon.
Nah not you, you're not restricted to a halal diet. Nor do I care if they're serving it. Just don't get why they name it that way, like they covet the stuff.
I'v never tried turkey bacon, but that didn't look bad on Bwoods plate, in fact it made me hungry, although I found with pigs bacon if you buy the medallions (or remove the fat yourself), it reduces the saturated fat enormously and price wise it's about the same. Tried vegan sausages one time, didn't like, but I didn't buy the best ones, so can't go on that one attempt. I'd imagine vegan ice cream is fine. I have oat milk and not dairy, I also like coconut, and I expect dairy free ice cream is going to be made from one of those two ingredients (other than plant based). The benefits with non dairy would be saturated fat levels again.
Booja Booja vegan ice cream is better than any of that Ben and Jerry’s ****e. Not cheap and not low calorie but it’s banging.
It’s the best breakfast you can get for the price. Unlimited everything for like £8.99 last time I went. Eggs how you want, pastries and all that before. Coffee isn’t great.
Top drawer to be fair. Should have had more, am having some granola and berries to fill up. £10.99 for the breakfast but I'm not paying so no bother.
Fillet steak (medium rare) on a bed of piri-piri grains, roasted onion, spring onion, chorizo, pepper and tomato. Corn wrapped and roasted in salted butter, then charred in air fryer.
Cheers mate. Looks a bit dry, but wasn't at all. Chorizo was crispy, so all the rendered pork fat and paprika kept the veg nice and moist. Fillets were from Lidl - found a couple with a bit of fat running through them and they were very good. £.650 each!
