I vaguely remember that <laugh>

I always regretted doxxing Ginge. That was bad of me but on the flip side if I didn’t have my files on you guys we might never have known what had happened to the bloke.

In the first 2/3 years I knew Ginge he was a typical pain in the arse Chelsea pr*** (sorry Ginge but you were). In fact it's only now I remember the run ins I had with him about the football lol

I was away for a while when I returned he seemed to post less about the footy and I came to rate him bcos of the food he posted on here or talking with him about movies every now and again. Changed my view of him, came across as a sound bloke tbf.

Yeah he was a good guy. He was an arse on here when it came to footy, but he didn't give a **** what anybody thought and had skin tougher than a rhino.

I didn't like it when people used to give him grief about his Thai wife and made comments about his first wife. I never said anything at the time, because it was his business. But Ginge tragically lost his first wife, the same evening that Chelsea won the Champions League in 2012 when he was over there. So it was a evening that turned from jubilation to tragedy for him. He made the decision to move out to Thailand after that and he found love again. It's all water under the bridge, but I thought a lot of the comments aimed at him were really crass at the time.

Anyway, he was also a great cook. And he'd set up a few businesses in the past, including a really good quick nutritious product here in the UK which would probably rival Huel these days. Cooking was a real passion of his and he loved his food.

He was also a Jazz ****er like me and had a really good in depth appreciation of Jazz / Blues / Rock / R&B / Soul

God bless his soul <peacedove>

Yeah he defo looked to you mate, I remember him telling me once, absolutely ages ago, I can't remember how the convo came about, but you can rest in the knowledge he saw you as a friend. Hence why I guessed today that you hadn't seen this thread, don't know why it just dawned on me, but it did. .

I agree with that. I remember his anti-Muslim comments he used to make towards Spurlock back in the day.

After I’d doxxed him, I felt so guilty and bad about it that I sent him all my detail’s about myself and give him the option to post them out here on the forum. He never done it though, which was a mark of the man he was. After that we got on fine and I really grew to like the man.

I was genuinely sad when I learned he had passed away. I do wonder if it was a sudden death with him just being on here the day or day before of his passing.

I forgot about his anti muslim stuff lol. Ironic that he should go live in a country full of muslims. I reckon their love of his curries won him over. <whistle>

Fwiw I think social media and forums are not always who we are but sometimes what we're drawn into. Especially the emotive stuff. Move away from that and you see everyone on here is sound.

It must have happened quickly. Most people seemed shocked when it was announced on Facebook. 15th November it was confirmed so I imagine it was that day or the day before. He’d piled the weight on in the couple years before mind. Seemed to live a good life out there, fair play to him.
Not sure whether its a coincidence but Peej posted this on the 14th. Ginge probably died of disgust:

Bit of jam, trying to be healthy isn’t fun

RIP Ginge.
