Off out for a steak on Thursday will post pics. The place is really nice been there before, they do a steak and a pint £17 on Thursdays at the moment.
Slow cooked beef chuck (0.8kg) from Sunday. Versatile, comparatively cheap and underrated cut. I prefer it to brisket personally. Did it in red onion, garlic, bottle of red wine, tin of Guinness and a bundle of rosemary and thyme. Cooked for 7 hours then removed the meat and thickened the gravy with cornflour and gravy salts (and had a couple of bags left over for the freezer as a bonus byproduct).
lol good one bro you have a reputation for your misery likeing but we all put it down to your Judaism and accept it as part of your nature but Luv?
Likes are free mate. I’m happy to dish out as many as I want until brb starts charging. The Welsh are probably tighter than us anyway. With money, not vaginas obvs.
Cheers. Meat was 9/10 - veg, just bog standard fare. I'll definitely do a few more joints this way, easy to prep when you're rough and you can clear off for the day and forget about tending the meat, which is never really an option with the BBQ, unless you're on a really long low and slow cook.
I saw it and thought meh But then Sunday roast type dinners bore the **** out me. Never been a fan of em really. So 2/10
Also the cut of meat reminds of a vagina that's been smashed to **** with a meat hammer. Which I don't find appetising unapologetically
Definitely a sloppy looking bit… quite a lot of fat and the slow braising in the wine made it really soft / tender. Was almost falling apart, so get the smashed vagina vibes. Tasted better than your Mrs though.
