Christmas special at the brunch place. Fried chicken, fried stuffing, bacon, cranberry sauce, kale and gravy.
Bought a slow cooker for like £20. Giving it a go tonight with chicken thigh, chicken liver, tinned toms, lebanese spices, potato and various random veg. What’s the worst that can happen?
Filled it up and there’s no room for some of the veg. Online it says to not go over 2/3 full. I’m sticking with the theory that nothing bad will happen.
Don't put greens in, they go soggy as ****. Root veg is fine. Potato also fine, but things like lentils and pearl barley are great for thickening and bulking. Chicken thighs will just shred in a slow cooker as well.
Off to a Pembrokeshire fish pub/restaurant tonight, looking forward to it. A lot. The menu looks superb, too many to choose from. Will try to post pics.
