    Just been out.

Moules Mariniere to start and a mixed beef & lamb dinner for main.

The gay bloke from Corrie was on the table next to us, Sean is it? **** never looked up from his phone, I think he was reading Metro.

I can only just. Had a wobble early afternoon but a couple of pre food beers sorted me out.

Am going back down hill now though. I'm in bed, watching Jurassic Park.

    ****ed.

He was in a private members club (that caters to the arts professions darling) in London one evening a few years back. I was there at a corporate dinner/booze up. A pissed up woman who was in our group went over to talk to him. He did a very dramatic and very gay eye roll but she was so hammered she didn't realise that he was effectively telling her to **** off. She continued to annoy him for a good half hour.

As expected, left over party food. Pizza, chips, fried chicken, mini sausages etc. Washed down with fizz. Happy new year.

Fried chicken and chips. Not take-away but home-made. Fck knows what came over the mrs to knock that up. Pleasant surprise but fckin moorish and far too unhealthy. Especially as I'm surviving on fruit salad at work to get fitter ffs!

Put about half a stone on over Christmas, the inevitable combo of booze, good food, ****e food and no real exercise. Got to shift that by end of the months so organic porridge with almond milk and a banana for breakfast this week. Will alternate with beetroot and banana breakfast smoothies.

Have cut the booze down, not pretending to be dry but am leaving that to weekends, which means Monday-Thursday booze free.

    No bread allowed, at all.

Got a veg soup for dinner (lunch), will supplement with a boiled egg.

    All very exciting!

I'm trying to make it interesting with Crayfish, Tuna, Houmous all of which I really like. I'm with you though no booze during the week but come the weekend I'm on it.

Hung pheasant covered in strips of maple cured bacon and roasted with rosemary and cracked pepper roast pots and carrots. Pan fry some sliced sweet beetroot, add the juices from the bird and reduce for seasoned gravy. Going to wash that down with a gutsy red. Nom

Went for a Thai meal last night. It was excellent.

Hungover now. Listening to Oasis Live at Maine Road in 96. I was there. It was epic.

    This in particular was incredible.
