Love them. Used to have them when I first left home and worked away as a teenager. Now I'm all grown up I do this thing called cooking, you should try it. A tagine is a Moroccan cooking oven type thingy and the dish takes on its name. In the case of tonight, it is lamb. Lots of prunes and chickpeas in it so I'll fart like a good 'un tomorrow. Probably even follow through.
How did you two start dating? Do you call each other Sweats and Chief in real life or do you use your real names, Derek and Clive?
He will no doubt play ****e now On our driving range the back fence is 250. With a wood behind. His drives are still rising over the trees.
I was on a job near Gloucester and it's not too far from Worcester so we met, having never previously met, at the worst golf course I've ever played at to hack our way round in the pissing rain. I think. Or was it in Birmingham when I was at the cricket? It's Duncan and Colin.
He no doubt will. Driving range means absolutely ****ing zero. Not interested, they are merely made up yardages and you can't even see where a ball has landed. You don't play golf on a driving range.
First time was up in brum and you were all off your tits. Then yeah we played some **** course the other side of Tewkesbury. though I hacked round every course I played back then.
I have seen him drive a green on a 270 yard par 4. I've not witnessed him hit 300 on the course mind.
It's like I've already said to you, if somebody, in favourable conditions (wind, bounce, hard ground etc.) hits a long drive one day, it doesn't equate to 'they drive the ball 300 yards'. It means they once hit a long decent drive in favourable conditions.
Did we go twice?? I hadn't really taken up playing properly back then. I've really only taken it seriously for about 3 years now. Most enjoyable course we played was that hilly ****er south Herefordshire. I also liked the one in that Apple orchard. Next summer you need to pack the Mrs off for a weekend as I want another crack at your club.
True enough. I got 284 yards this year wind behind on a down hill fairway. Put a bit of blood in it walking to it.
Easily arranged. I still have my free birthday four ball from this year and will get another next year. I also won longest drive (!!!!!!!!! into the wind on the 17th. Was in the fourth group out and it never got beaten all day. Oh yes, that is a long drive me man) in our open week medal and that's a four ball at our place which won't expire so it's free if you do come down. I don't need to get rid of her necessarily but I'd only get the round and that night, I doubt I'd be able to push it to the second day also! #underthethumbandpussywhippedrolledintoone
Liked both those Hereford courses. Shame the apple orchard was so wet that day, would have liked to go back.
Was that the one where I hit my only straight drive of the day into the middle of the fairway and hit a lump of rock in the middle of it for my ball to fire off toward the beach below?
