Christmas leftovers or spoiling yourself?

 

Was given it at Christmas.

Just checked, £29 a bottle in Sainsbury's.


Very nice, but I'd not pay that for another.

 

That's a lot, I'd expect it to be amazing for that price.

There's a really good wine in Lidl at the moment it's not usually there just one of those random wines that they have now and then.

Would get some, but still got loads of red after Christmas.

Just been pre planning trip to France in Feb, if Macron let's us back in.


Will bring some boxes home from there, well worth it.

 

I wouldn't say amazing, but certainly in the top bracket.

The Mrs is having a couple of thimbles full so I get to cane the rest myself, which is a nice result.

 

£7.50 well worth it. Full bodied and slightly sweet like an Appassimento.

Do they still do they ten quid Barolo?

Some shredded chicken thigh would be nice in it I bet, will add next time. had no sour scream, just blue doritoes for dipping
