Yep, can't wait to stand around and ****ing wait. Tho that is the good thing about being in Scotland - half term here comes a week before that in England, so hopefully there will be fewer people there. Although probably still full of the French.
We went a few years ago when the boy was 3 and the girl a few months so during term time. The queues were still teeth grindingly long. Any fast pass or bribe that speeds up the process is good value regardless of the cost. On the upside, as the Euro is now borderline worthless it won't be the laughable rip off that it was a few years ago! The wife wanted to go this half term but I told her I was too "busy".
The fast pass is all free and integrated now - go up to the ride, see the massive queue, use the machine to get an allocated time, return at this time and walk straight on. Tho' it only works for one ride at a time, so we're doing no more than two rides per day! The only way to get faster access is to stay in a Disney hotel and pay three times as much for a ****tier room with plastic Disney ****e stuck on the walls. And the Euro may be worthless, but Disney get round that by charging for all the hotels and tickets in sterling. Hence going nowhere near a Disney hotel for the duration of the stay.
That was the ****er. The meal last night was awesome. Forgot to take photos as was pissed by the time we got there. Was an absolute mountain of meat.
It was tremendous. Was only £14 from that service station. Anyone got any exciting food plans this evening?? I'm staying in tonight so am thinking I quite fancy steak chips and chunky battered onion rings..
The Mrs is working so I'm making up a big stew in the slow cooker. Nothing fancy, just a nice slow cooked beef stew. Make some buttery mustard mash when she get's back.
Dumplings also surely?? Try adding some cheese to the mash too. We had that the other night was lovely.
Yeah dumplings go without saying I find I either add cheese to the mash, or add extra butter. If I add both it's a tad smooth. Today I'm going for the extra butter But yeah, cheese goes very well - especially with the hint of mustard.

Had a reasonable food weekend, chicken enchiladas and all the sides on Saturday and then went out for dinner yesterday. Had beef, which was very nice indeed. Washed down with a couple of Hobgoblins. Liked the enchiladas so much that I quite fancy trying a bit of Mexican when we're in't village this weekend, There's a Wahaca round the corner, anyone tried there? My neighbour came round last night with two massive fresh rainbow trout. Gutted the ****ers in my sink and so I froze them. She won't entertain the idea of eating one so I have two for me. Any ideas? I do know how to make a nice trout pate. Or might I as well wait till next summer and stick the ****ers on a barbie?

Went out to a swanky restaurant tonight. Had a tremendous meal, starter was a mini taster of all sorts, belly pork, scallop on black pudding and smoked salmon on a raw mackerel thing.. Main was posh surf an turf. Rib eye steak, served with and enormous languistine and a chargrilled piece of crocodile. Was tremendous.
What the **** is everyone doing for dinner today? Think we are going for a hangover feed to brum. Think we are going to go to the Turkish restaurant. Possibly china town or a Brazilian steak house or one of those smoke house places...
