Nothing really. It's a simon dimmer recipe from something for the weekend. It's very nice. Am sure I have provided the recipe previously. Cube a tin of corned beef. Cube a few potatoes skin on. Par boil them. Then roast them or swallow fry til crispy. Slice an onion and fry until crispy. Slice up a load of gherkins. Add the cubed corned beef to a big bowl. Add a table spoon of Dijon mustard. A fair few splashes of Worcester sauce. Mix in the gherkins on fried onion. Then add the crispy potatoes. Mix it all up then serve with a poached egg on top with loads of brown sauce. Ace
So, common or garden corned beef hash with some gherkins thrown in? Dead posh. Don't you love these TV chefs, eh? Heads so far up their arses they can't see the utter ****e they talk.
I'd only ever eaten it once before an the person who made it boiled potatoes then mashed them with a tin of corned beef mashed in with it. In comparison to that it's dead posh.
Coincidently, I'm in possession of a slice of pie that is just that, only it does have onion in it, with a crust on it. Know for some reason down here as corned beef pasty pie. No idea why, it's just a pie really. Very nice. Not sure what to have with it, I've got a tub of finest coleslaw with me so will probably purchase a salad.
Had pizza today for lunch. Been stuck on my own in the one office. So got it delivered.. On the pus side : http://www.dailymail.co.uk/health/article-189453/Why-pizza-fight-cancer.html
