What the f uck are you having for Dinner thread..

Discussion in 'The Premier League' started by Sweats, Jun 13, 2012.

  1. Just had a large bacon, egg and sausage cob (bap, roll, bun, barn cake, etc...) with red sauce washed down with a nice chunk of chocolate cake.

Had to have something small because we're having a Christmas buffet at work this afternoon

We've been invited out on both days. However, as some of you who visit the Liverpool board (including Sisu) will be aware, Christmas dinner will be at Cockney Roger and Jill's house. They're maniacs when pissed and stoned/beaked, so three times in the last five years, the cooked turkey has ended up in the back alley. We haven't been present on those occasions, but my house virtually backs on to theirs, so I've heard it <laugh> We will have a turkey crown cooking in tandem as a failsafe <ok>

I've had a hefty piece of steak for dinner with chips and mushy peas.

I now have the munchies and have no idea what to munch on. Thoughts?

I'm. No doubt talking to myself as people have better things to do on the Friday before Christmas than talk drivel about food on a football forum.

I've been out the last two nights and have been in bed since 8 <ok>

    Rock and roll.

Tonight being NYE and town being ****e and all we've invited round a few folks.

I have made tandoori chicken, a Daal of some sort, aromatic chicken curry and lamb dopiaza. Got to say, the lamb dopiaza looks a bit yellow. Tastes fantastic but I think I might add a couple of spoons of tomato puree to give it that 'authentic' british, everything must be red, curry colour.

Don't want to scare the guests.

Couple of baaji, popadoms and naans and we're good to go.

Got a mountain of beer, prosecco and wine to consume with it.

Then tomorrow it's down to the ground for the match and a belly full of ale.

Tomoro have a table booked at a carvery restaurant. Which is meant to be very good.

For my lunch today I have pulled pork and homemade coleslaw rolls.

Did a pulled pork yesterday and tried a different marinade for it. Was no where near as good as the one I did Boxing Day.

I'm trying to keep the carbs down, no idea what I'll have for dinner. Omelette probably.

For the foreseeable future it's porridge at breakfast then as few carbs as possible at dinner, no bread.

    I'm not in work.

Got the kids at home, it's inset day. Or whatever ****ing excuse teachers use to get themselves more time off.
Inset is training for teachers, why the hell they can't do this on the last day of Christmas holiday for instance is beyond me. I mean, they really do badly for holidays don't they?
