Think I will do Mussels in ale this weekend, as just shown by Tom Kerridge on BBC2. Looks a winner and piss easy. Got a mussel pan when in France, it deserves to be used.
A mussel pan??? That not just a saucepan really? Made a chilli tonight. A good one. Still wasn't spicy enough though. Need to buy some good chillis.
Made a nice curry on the weekend, went back to basics and made a really simple one and it was lovely. I've been trying to get the perfect curry and had become a bit crap at it so it's back to the drawing board and expand on the basics again.
I don`t normally comment on this thread as "can`t cook won`t cook" but sometimes the easy going comments make me smile.
Just got home and haven't eaten anything all day so literally just shoved a load of chicken dippers in the oven and ate them, worst/best meal ever.
Just had 6 pints of ale and a massive takeout pizza. BBQ chicken. Was from a new pizza shop. Was gooooooood
You out tonight for the match? Was thinking of going to the Barrells for a couple of Butty and some pork scratchings but may have to go to The Moon as they also do food. They also do Otter, which is damn fine ale too. (I don't mean are you coming up here, just out down you way)
