Yes, very finicky. Need to soak in tepid water for a few hours then change the water three times then overnight in the fridge. Then wash the salt out of the insides twice then soak again overnight.

if you are doing a supermarket chicken for lunch then why not cut more corners and have a frozen yorkshire pud. But if you are doing a roast, do it properly. like a jam roly poly, But they have number it serves all wrong on box.
