Accidentally had a McDonalds breakfast. Will off set this with tuna salad for dinner. **** knows for tea.
I also had a tuna salad for lunch. Don't know what the **** to make for dinner though. Had a box of chicken wings last night.. I did quite fancy a lasagne, but not sure I can be arsed to make it.
I had salmon with honey and mustard glaze, grilled, with roast tomatoes, mushrooms and potatoes. Also had green beans but they were stringy so were hanging and I couldn't eat them. Now drinking a fine Bordeaux.
I've not accidentally had a McDonalds breakfast for ages. Dieting sucks but 39pound down in 9 weeks I think I deserve one for all the hard work at the Gym lol
Yeah you can. You in in for a coffee and the words 'double sausage and egg meal' accidentally slip from your mouth. Quite simple really.
That's a lot of weight to lose in that time fella! Well done. I decided to start road running again over the weekend and did two 5k runs (I used to do 4 x 10k runs a week but have exclusively been doing non-running gym work for the past 3 years). I was pleasantly surprised by the times but my legs ACHE today.
I'm the other way round. Been running a fair bit over the past couple of years, usually around 10k over hills two or three times a week, and playing football every Wednesday but not gone near my weights for around five or six years now. Did my first weights session for a while last Tuesday and my arms still feel like spaghetti today! Didn't help that I nearly broke my toe at footy last Weds so I couldn't do any more weight sessions last week - always find the aches go away quicker if you keep training every two or three days.
I don't do weights at the gym. I do cardio, just not running. I fell out of love with running almost overnight a few years back. Suddenly got the urge to start again although my legs might currently disagree.
We're talking about how we burn off our dinner. I went to the driving range with my lad on Saturday. I would be ****ing good at golf if I ever took it up.
Well, as we're talking about it I might as well chip in. I go gym twice a week when I work away mid week and can't do the running, my shins and knees kill within a couple of minutes, so I do half hour on the bike and hour and quarter on the weights, then a kettle bell and row at the end. I can't and never have been a 'jogger', just can't get the pace right. Prior to holiday I was just trying to lift heavy and noticed I was bulking out too much so changed tack these last couple of weeks, lighter but more reps. Now starting to tone nicely. Can not shift the tyre though. I put that down to age mind! Recreational squash and golf maestro also.
I'm having lasagne tonight. To burn off the calories I will drink half a bottle of Shiraz then get sucked off by the mrs.
Beef stew tonight. Left over from yesterday. Got all autumnal over the weekend, what with chilli followed by stew. Will finish the chilli tomorrow pre golf. Forecast looks ok by the way but sunset is 19.40 so I doubt we'll get 18 in. Had carrot and coriander soup with one ham and one tuna butty for dinner.
We may just make it round.. Won't be anyone else in front of us. Just depends how many practice swings you take every shot..
Ah, I see. Can't stand cardio in the gym - feels like I'm going absolutely nowhere, which I am! That said, I generally don't do gyms anyway - too many twats hogging the weights, fannying around or stinking of stale sweat. Swimming, running, cycling or free weights for me, can't beat it. Hour and a quarter on the weights?! Either you're the Incredible Hulk or you spend a **** load of time 'adjusting' the machines... Football's on Monday this week. Finished off last night's curry this morning, so I'll be farting like a trooper throughout the sesh. Should be good for getting rid of my marker anyway.
