I do, i just thought that dish looked very good and didn't need them. It's actually one of the best quick meals posted in this entire thread.
Unfortunately my maid doesn’t have an account on here (unless she is @Suckmyklopp - incidentally she does serve a lot of sweetcorn) so here’s what Google says: INGREDIENTS 1 cup all-purpose flour (150g) ¼ tsp ground turmeric ¼ tsp salt 1 egg (beaten) ¾ cup coconut milk mixed with ¾ cup (180ml) water Vegetable oil to grease pan INSTRUCTIONS Sift flour and ground turmeric into a large bowl. Add salt. Stir in beaten egg and coconut milk until a smooth batter forms. Strain batter to remove any lumps. Brush a little oil onto a non-stick pan on medium heat. Pour a little batter into the roti jala cup until about half full. Move the cup in a circular motion over the pan to form a lacy pattern. Cook until set. This only takes about 2 minutes. Slide crepe out of pan onto a plate. Repeat until all batter is used up. When cool enough to handle, fold in both sides of the crepe and roll to form a neat package. You need one of these for pouring batter but could probably make by poking 5 holes in the bottom of a plastic cup
Chinese chicken curry with egg fried rice tonight. I have to do some velveting nonsense to the chicken first.
Velveting... basically you’re gonna marinade it in water again and sing to it while it’s in the pan. Gay AF to be honest, I’m starting to worry about you.
No doubt Ginge will say the velveting is not right, it’s better done with chopsticks in a drain after asking the entire village to come and be sick on it first.
Still feeling hungover from last night so just going to have a big bowl of chicken pasta and pesto. Realised I don’t have any pesto so ordered some on deliveroo, the shop is less than 200m from my house. A new low
It’s the getting dressed and walking round a shop I cba with. Dunno if I’d need a mask as well and no idea where the one I had has gone. Think I tipped my Uber driver with it last night
