It's great and terrible at the same time, good attempt but burnt fish ain't good. You're going to be loads of fun on here.
Interesting attempt, so i won't knock it... try cutting the salad smaller, i see some green chilli? Maybe try the same again, but without the garlic bread on top, hoy in some prawns, and red chillis, and please cut the stuff smaller..
But let's not knock him for trying something different.. He would maybe have been better of cutting the garlic bread (i mean salmon) into small pieces, and adding it to the dish..
Yeah maybe, or just not burning it would have been my advice like. He can take it, he’s a war horse I can sense it.
It's glass noodle mate, not really the ideal stuff to go with a steak, be it salmon or beef...More of a soup or light dish... You eat with a fork and spoon, just like for many thai dishes, not a meat cleaver.
The only place I’ve ever seen it is on Come Dine With Me lol, I struggle with Thai, really not my bag.
Love a good Thai salad but has to be prawns, squid or thin beef slices. The spices and flavour would overpower the salmon. Some mango slices would be nice as well.
Glass noodles is a light meal, and as it;s Thai, usually very spicy... JT is correct, it would overpower salmon..
How would you know if you haven’t tried both? Also how people cook their food is subjective and to their preferences.
Yes - but it shouldn't stop them getting abuse from others who don't like the way it looks. This thread would be no fun otherwise.
Exactly, Thai food is well balanced in sweetness and sour. Would have done as Commy suggested and cubed the salad and made the dressing in a mortar & pestle with red chillies, two small cherry tomatoes, fish sauce lime leaf, garlic, sweet chilli sauce & lime juice.
I prefer just being a critic - I don't see the need to have my ego knocked on a daily basis like you, Sucky or Luv. Its obvious from @Schlem Boogerman efforts that he gets off on the insults and abuse. Probably why he is a Newcastle supporter as well.
I'm a ****e critic. I'd eat 99.99% of the ****e served up on here I can even eat sweetcorn, just don't see a place for it in any food, ever. On the cob an a bbq, yes. Any other way
It's not an ego thing for me, nice if you get some compliments but I like cooking and putting the results up here make me try a bit harder. Daft really because nobody can taste it. I also like the abuse, it's funny.
