Actually it wasn't great as it was at the zoo. Have demolished a whole pack of the stuff that we bought from the supermarket. Half a tub of boquerones also polished off. Sliced chorizo to go through next. ****ing love the food here.

Where are you NOF? I'd kill to be on holiday right now. Partly because my meal for the evening is dross compared to what you're having/had! Microwaved chicken jambalaya from m&S with some stella cidre.

I had sausage and liver casserole for tea, with mash and brocolli.

Bit different from those Spanish delights but very nice nontheless. Washing it down with a dark McKewans ale which happens to be 7.5%, tastes as strong as it sounds.

Spa hotel near Perth. The Scottish Perth :)

Not quite Valencia, but good facilities and childcare is included so we'll get to relax for a week. Proper holiday to Benalmadena in June, can't wait for that one either! Only eight weeks to go...

You made any holiday plans for the summer?

yeah big fan of a getaway break in britiain. Was up in Ayrshire last year, beautiful complex next to a golf course, lovely place.

nothing sorted yet but planning to go to France with her indoors and perhaps benicassim but without the camping with a few mates. trying not to do anything expensive as my mate is planning a stag do in vegas next year <yikes>

My family live there. Not far from Valencia. Nearest place you may of heard of is javea or calpe.. They live in the mountains surrounded by vinyards.

Nice :) Apparently Vegas can be very cheap - just act like you plan to gamble loads and the casinos start giving you cheaper food and drink to try and encourage you.

Likewise - we're going from 9th-20th June, just long enough to enjoy it but not so long we'll get bored / too hot. We also manage to miss most of the first weekend by arriving on Sunday, so hopefully less competition with local weekenders for good beach space.
