Balti is the dish it's served/cooked in isn't it? And it comes with a naan.

In other words nothing, made up gimick originating in Birmingham.

Clocks go forward tomorrow don't forget, was getting up early anyway to go to Longleat so now that's stupid early.

Pizza for tea. With ale, couple of Badgers and an Adnams.

Balti is the dish you put the food in, but taste so much nicer, curry is hotter, as Drogs says home made is best, but I do go to the Indian store for the food, as its cheaper and better than Tescos

In all fairness I should try cooking a home made curry as then I will be able to work it out whether I am actually allergic to them or just very unlucky in curry houses. .

I thought baltis were the dish they are cooked and eaten in, but also were quite watery? Only ever eaten one once when I was at uni, didn't get to finish it either as got thrown out.

like I said, not as bad as I thought it'd be. Wouldn't recommend buying though as it was still no cheaper. I imagine the taste changes quickly over time.

I've had the plastic bottle stuff over in France, the cheap plonk. Still drinkable just about.
Got a Badgers Poachers Choice, Adnams Broadside and Badgers Blandford Flyer for tonight. All nice stuff.

    No wine though.

Never been dude. Only ever driven through. Too many French for my liking.

You got kids? Or just you an the mrs?

I've always quite fancied a road trip through France, staying in random B&B's or hire a plush vw camper van. would also like to hire a canal barge over there. Ever since watching rick stein do it. Everywhere he ate it just looked amazing, great wine great food and weird people who don't like English folk, ungrateful bastards.

Road trip. Depends how high maintenance ya mrs is. Mine would be ok with a vw camper. Modern smart one. Though a massive Winnebago would also be cool.

Back in the day I had a guy working for me who was half Nigerian, half German. He started dating another of my staff, a French girl who had a fantastic arse (quality of arse not relevant to the story). Her parents were old school French folk who didn't like black people or Germans. The lad went to visit her family for a weekend just outside of Paris and was understandably bricking it, first meeting and all. Monday morning I asked him what his favourite part of Paris was. His answer really did make me chuckle. The departure lounge.

Paris is actually an amazing city to visit although the streets are paved with dog ****e. Other than that have only done the South. Nice, Cannes, Antibes etc. Nice enough but ridiculously expensive, there are better places to go that are far cheaper. Italy is more my country, love the place.

Sounds like you want to be inland.

Dordogne or somewhere, not that I've been to recommend.

Bordeaux is nearby though and Atlantic coast, which i have been and are really good. Especially if you like surf.

Everyone should have at least one long weekend in Paris in their lifetime.

Actually, have also done Le Touquet as we had a business there. Great place to go if you love golf and beachy type activities, dull as a very dull thing if you don't.
