    I do them in the oven all the time, I usually do 220 for 30 mins minimum, from raw.

    Fair play if they were cooked in 20mins, they must have been skinny fries or something?

    I can’t see how having some burnt herbs will enhance the experience.

    Got my folks coming for dinner shortly. Bought 2kg of silverside.

    I herb under skin myself and on the skin, besides you can stfu mate burnt anything usually isnt an issue for you <whistle>

    I do that with a turkey. I just like crispy salty skin on a chicken. Then make some herby garlicky stuffing to go with .

    It’s decent. Personally prefer meat a bit rarer but I wouldn’t send it back.

    Don't think I'll bother with the thyme next time. Didn't really add any flavour. Might hoy some with butter under the skin though.
