Yeh, i used to get the sainsburys cooking bacon bit they take the piss as its all fatty streaks mainly and half the size for a quid more. The lidls one smashes it tbh. I get 6 packs every month shop
I've never shopped in a Lidl, well not food shop anyway but I've heard their pricing is good, and the produce I've seen ppl have, seems decent enough quality. I got some bacon from Aldi's the other day, 6 smoked thick cut rashers in a pack £1.59. I had stopped buying bacon from there because it was ****te, but this was new in and the quality was far better.
Its great for certain things ive found so far Cereals, 50p for cornfakes, 36 weetabrix for a quid, rice crackies 50p Chickens good Mince meat is ****, beef is good, all ya tins 30p odd, sausages are ****, 1.5kilo of cheese 4 quid. I go for the bacon.
Bro they do pasta for pennies. Like 20p for spagetti pack, kilo. Packs. Of shells for 50p.or.summin Go nuts
Is it cheaper than Costco? That’s where I do basically all my food shopping, granted I basically eat the same thing for every meal
I had some Heck Sausages this week, not buying them again, way too greasy, i can't remember them being like that. I used to like Porky Whites Brand, but I couldn't get them anymore, then found out they went into administration end of last year.
