Blame the weather on my part!

Not much I could do really. I'm also gutted as I will be watching in the house and that often means disturbed.

Yeah, once! He was then deemed a legend for ever who 'never' had a bad game. It was wierd, quite a few had a blind spot to Park and I wonder if similar will happen with Kagawa who, to me at the moment, looks **** to be frank. I haven't been impressed with him and it felt like we played with ten men till he went off.

It has an impact on other players performances too, especially Rooney who seems to want to make up for his lack of input.

    Cooking for the bird tonight..

Doing chicken breast stuffed with haggis and wrapped in streaky bacon. With haggis stuffed mushrooms, balsamic roast potatoes, greens and a whisky sauce.

Having garlic mussels to start with crusty bread. No dessert though.

    Getting all romantic are we?

I didn't even acknowledge valentines, never do. Doesn't even get a mention. It's fair to say that with three kids under six causing carnage round the house there is zero romance in our life!!

Might have a kebab myself tonight, all this talk has made me hanker for one.

I've not had a kebab for a while. Actually that's bollocks I woke up the other Sunday went downstairs to see a half eaten one I didn't remember buying on the side..

Wouldn't say romantic tonight.. As I'm not overly romantic never have been.. Just keep them sweet with a small amount of effort.

Bet if you rocked up back home with some flowers she'd give the old chap a buff tonight <ok>

Was thinking of it, however I've decided to stay up in Hereford as I fancy an half decent nights kip and can not be arsed to drive back tonight. I came up this morning and I already ****ing hate the place, hour and twenty minutes to get to the outskirts, 40 minutes to do the final two miles! Bastard place.

I can't bring myself to do it again tomorrow so I'm staying up here, there just happens to be a kebab place a mile from my B&B but then there is also a pub I might just have to call into for a couple of pints instead.

I've eaten **** today too, aside from my fruit only breakfast. Two scotch eggs (Tesco finest, allegedly. If that's their finest they need to make a bigger effort) a tuna salad and a ba gof chilli biltong.

Yeah, had Butty Bach. It is indeed very nice. Need to sort me an in town B&B, which I will do next week. The one I've got this and next week is miles from anywhere.

If I bought her flowers she'd only moan about how much they cost and say it was a waste. And she'd be right too.

She did that the other week in Bristol though, went to this very nice restaurant and she just moaned about the price of it all. I was ****ing paying, not her, and I didn't give a ****. ****'s sake, next time it's McDonalds, bugger it.

The dinner I cooked was the bomb..

Butterflied the chicken breast, rolled into a sausage/cock shape the haggis, inserted into the middle of the chicken.. Wrapped it in streaky bacon. Did some balsamic roast potatoes, greens.. The sauce was amazing. Used chicken stock with two table spoons of whisky reduced it by half, added a tablespoon of Dijon mustard and double cream then a knob of butter and then the juices from the cooked chicken.. Also did a flat mushroom stuffed with haggis and bacon topped with breadcrumbs.. Was immense.
