I was being sarcastic about the green stuff and also guessed those might be onion rings.

I don't see what is wrong personally with what I suggested, I think it would make a good challenge, and not one too expensive, and a little different from the norm.

A med veg dish, so the world's your oyster with that one, especially for Vegetarians, which has been a big topic on this forum, and the only rules I applied were;

No meat - but you can use any type of fish, or simply no fish at all, to keep the cost down even more.

Personally I don't like cheese, so I did say no cheese, because I really struggle to judge anything with cheese on.

I will not be participating, but I'd love to see what ideas people could give me.

To be fair, if there is a cook off then it wouldn't be appropriate for you to be on the judging panel as you've never posted a pic of anything you've cooked. It's definitely inappropriate for you to set the rules ie nothing with cheese as you don't like cheese!

For non meat eaters, they could do a vegetarian toad in the hole version. I'm trying to accommodate everyone in their choices.

Ok honest opinion no fooking about this time. If it didn't look so shiny and slimey it would be perfect. Oh and where are the triple fried chips?

 

The shiny is annoying but it's just the light. It's enough for her, she wouldn't eat chips as well.

I don't remember seeing the shiny on other people's photo's but all the time on yours. How did you cook the aspargus? It just looks like it's all tarnised in grease.
