Would deffo go down the frozen route. I'm having one of those cook-in-the-bag chicken breasts. You know, the one where you add the herbs, shake and chuck in the oven. I believe they're very tasty. Mash, frozen peas and bread & butter to accompany <ok>

I had a Big Mac meal en route home today and have to say, fair play, it was utterly ****ing gash. No idea why I did it.

Well I do, I was starving but I'd have been home in 15 minutes and could have made a butty.

**** food. (apart from the breakfast McMuffins)

Venison for tea. She's cooking it though so I know she'll ignore my advice and over cook it and ruin the ****er. Got an excellent Portugese wine to go with it though so we'll be right.

Made Chinese food last night seeing as it was Chinese new year. The year of the snake has begun but I'm not eating any of that.

Normandy chicken??? Do you decorate it with gun turrets and trenches?

I'm off to my local where my landlord who used to be a top chef is cooking a select few a roast prior to the egg chasing.

    All dayer ahoy .

Roast lamb dinner duly eaten, half bottle of Rioja caned, an hour of chasing egg followed by us v Everton.

    Tidy.

Last night ended up rump steaks which I cooked rare with a green pepper corn sauce. Lovely.

On my fifth pint of Oxford gold. My Michelin roast was immense, though the potatoes were lacking somewhat, but what they lacked in quality they made up for in quantity.. I had 12.

I had seven pints of Archers Empire straight from the barrel on Friday night and had two of Butcombe Gold to end the night.

Grand ale session, was pissing half the bloody night.

    Is Oxford Gold Brakspears?

It is indeed. It's what my local has on draught and hobgoblin.

I ended up about 15 pints to the good Sunday. Felt truly awful yesterday.. Luckily had the day off and made lasagne last night.. It was ok, I just don't seem to get much flavour into my bolognese so was a tad bland if I'm honest.

Having pan cakes for tea tonight.. <ok>
