Born in Brighton Hospital, and lived in Brighton and Hove my whole life. My dad (a Saints fan) used to take me to games at the Goldstone when I was a lad, even owned a B&HA shirt. When I was at that critical age where I was really getting hooked on football and about to become a full blown Seagulls fan, they sell the Goldstone and start playing home games at Gillingham. Obviously weren't going to make that journey, not when Matt Le Tissier is hitting screamers in the Premier League every other week down the road in the other direction.
It's Saints or nothing for me, I'm afraid. It's my home town and only football love-affair. The only caveat would be if I moved a long way away I might adopt the local side, but only if they played entertaining football.
Chichester City. Founded 1873 so they must be one of the oldest clubs on the coast. And I've seen them play too. Come on the Lillywhites! I won't say any more than that.
It would be Salisbury for me, as I was born in the next village where Mickey Channon was born, my parents lived in Orcheston for a whilst, what an accent he has.
Very Similar - Born in Boscombe hospital, lived in Christchurch from birth to age 10 (it was in Hampshire BTW for the first 3 years of my life), and then Bournemouth until I met my wife 17 years ago. Now in Poole.
