Already had the pleasure of following an under funded and under achieving football club for fifty years why the feck would I want to repeat the excercise with an even worse funded and even less successful club like Millwall?

None of the above for me. I wlll find another sport instead.

Don't think this will happen, but if it did I would hope Leeds F.C or whatever would emerge. I would follow them.

I will always support my local/home town club ...

Worse case scenario ... new club rising from the ashes, 'Leeds Re-United AFC' has a good ring about it, but it's not easy to sing!

However administration is unlikely to happen, in my view, for these reasons:

Plan A/Cellino deal. If this falls through, then 'Together Leeds' will step in as they have said they've got proof of funds and will match his offer, and then presumably could close the deal in a (relatively!) short space of time.

If neither of these were to happen, GFH's credibility will fall even further (if that's possible) which would have a huge/detrimental impact on their share price and image both here & in the Middle East, and for that reason alone I don't think they will let this happen (some wealthy knight in shining armour - or camel who's been left a lot of money - will step in to support them) Otherwise they'll have a huge hole in their accounts to fill and some very angry shareholders to placate!

To me it looks like they've been gambling all along on 'flipping' the club at the earliest opportunity but it's taken a lot longer to happen than they've anticipated. However, what I am really finding hard to understand is why the rival TL consortium didn't appear on the scene earlier (before Cellino) and show the colour of their money?

They will stay at Old Trafford where they go every other weekend anyway.......must be doing their heads in now the bigger Utd are losing too they're stuck with 2 **** shirts they can't wear out in public for fear of humiliation about how big their 2 bestest clubs used to be ......they might have to learn how to spell 'CITY' in the not too distant future :1980_boogie_down:

There is only one club every Leeds United supporter must follow, even alongside Leeds or if the club ever folded, and that club is Stirling Albion FC. Our most famous player had trials with them, he was a ball boy for the club, he was born along the road (in Raploch) from their old Annfield Stadium and even had his testimonial against them. Both Snoddy and Derek Lilley played for Stirling Albion in their days in Scottish football, and our former loan player, Steven Caldwell, was born is Stirling. Gabby Logan (daughter of Terry Yorath) is married to Kenny Logan, former Scotland rugby player who was born in Stirling and supports the club. Andy Murray once had a trial with the club and is one of the many owners of the club, whilst his grandfather played for the club. The club needs all the support it can get and 100% owned by supporters, so come on, get behind Bremner's other team and please come to a game at Forthbank if you are ever visiting Stirling. Unlike many other Scottish clubs, you can get a drink before and after the game in the supporters bar. :emoticon-0100-smile

Stirlingshire is the birthplace of: Alan Hansen, Andy Murray, Willie Carson, Rob Roy, David Weir, Gary Caldwell, Kaye Adams
