Only in the premier league is a fully or near full foreign side accepted. No other major league would allow a club to do so. Thankfully the clubs that carry tge pride for england are manchester united and liverpool. A proud tradition of british players not only breaking through but being apart of great sucess. You may also notice the worlds elite clubs are all tge same. Youth always has a place, home talent always has a place, superstars always have a place.
Thats because of clubs like chelsea. Arsenal a few years back etc etc... Chelsea dont evennl give theres a chance. If chelsea had our problems right now what do you think they would do? Play youngsters? like ****.... Im trying to think of a similar club. Even psg are better ffs.
Think you have to include Arsenal in there too. Especially as the majority of the current England team is from Liverpool or Arsenal now (obviously, Welbeck could be argued either way but he plays for Arsenal now) Liverpool: Johnson, Flanno, Hendo, Sterling, Studge, Lambert and Lallana (7) Man utd: Jones, Smalling, Young, Rooney and Shaw (5) Arsenal: Chambers, Gibbs, Wilshire, Walcott, Welbeck and The Ox (6)
Arsenal a few years back yes. But as per last comment... chelsea did provide a few for a while too: Terry, A.Cole, Lampard and J.Cole were all first choice for a while.
John terry will be the last player chelsea bring through who will make more than 25 first team appearance. Imagine being a chelsea fan. Who do the kids dream of playing for?
