Yeah could do that but I would have gone to them if I had a season ticket, it was only where I did not have the money at the time but if I got a season ticket I would probably look at paying outright as that is easier and cheaper.
Keep it a secret sure she will be happy and see it is money well spent. Anyway it is a good investment as it means that you don't spend as much money through the year, that is how I see it you just have to hope that is the way that she sees it.
