Glenn Hoddle said that about Andy Cole, made him look a **** too.. Cole still stands second to this day on 187 goals. Adomah didn't play up top for us and is playing the same role he did here for Boro.
to be fair to Glenn Hoddle, that statement was in the context of Andy Cole in an England shirt, and he was right!!
If I remember correctly he was talking about Coles league form being the reason why he failed to pick him....not his form in a an England shirt. Regarding Kodija, anyone with any sort of football acumen can see he will score goals in a decent side, most of his missed opportunities are when he has to make the chances himself, dance around 4 defenders and get a shot off, (EG, Leeds on Saturday) when he has had a chance made for him he has invariably took it (various headed goals and through balls this year) Again he has only been here half a season and has barely settled, I wish some of our fans could show just a little bit of patience . Red Robin was praising him up as quality only a few weeks ago?
I still think he would be cracking in Adomahs role,i really do.He has had many chances that he has spurned or wasted when trying to score. If he is going to play as a main striker he needs to improve most defiantly.
