SFC - good shout regarding Matty Upson on a free. Not cheap on the wages front but could use money that would normally be used to purchase. Two year deal due to his age

    Fonte & Upson - OMG!

As we're making a habit of mugging Arsenal, how about a cheeky 12 mil bid for Nasri?
Or 15 mil and they can throw in Fabregas as well.. :emoticon-0102-bigsm

I really would like us to bring in some top, top players but it will be difficult as teams will try to hold us to ransom because they'll know we've got £12m to spend. We don't need to go crazy, but I feel we need a CB, a ST, and a winger unless Adkins decides he is going to use Guly on the right permanently this year which is possible if we bring a new ST in.

Never mind the whole Pompey squad, Cortese could buy the club itself, sell all the players and all profits go to the Saints!!!

Put towards my insane plan to dig up the pitch, sink it down 10m, and build a lower tier to bring the seating tight to the pitch.

Or buy Adkins his dream bus

    Free parking at the ground

Along with upholstring our seats, cup holders & foot rests and a mini bar style fridge underneath the seat filled with drinks, choclate bars & a small tub of pringles

My thinking is as follows -

    Jay Rodriguez for £3m-ish
Kaspar Gorkss straight swap for Puncheon (if they wanna give us money, cool)
    Matt Phillips for £1m-2m

    Invest the rest :D

Thing with Maynard is, we'd be blowing half of our Oxlade money on one player...

I've said it a couple of times before, but Colin Kazim-Richards would be the perfect replacement for Chamberlain. Think about it - he plays the same position and has similar strengths, he's been great in the Championship before, he's gained a lot of experience since then playing for Fenerbahce and Galatasaray, he seems like a model professional and we could probably afford him. I reckon there's a decent chance he'd be interested in a move to an up-and-coming team like Saints, and he'd be great for a bottom-half Premier League team.

That's news to me. I always thought he was terrible when he was here. He must have come on leaps and bounds to have been playing for Fenerbahce and Galatasaray, though. He signed a three and a half year deal a few months ago, though, so won't be cheap.
