Pretty much agree with CK, although the Bentaleb / Mason conundrum is a problem. Both have shown the ability, but both are struggling to find form after injuries - and our style of play doesn't really allow much margin for error fitness-wise. Njie certainly needs a pre-season and more time (but not too much) to prove himself - just hope he's not injury-prone. Son is also definitely worth keeping for now although needs to adapt quickly. The interesting one for me is Yedlin. Looked a real prospect at the WC and as mentioned is doing OK in a struggling young Sunderland side. When we brought him in I know that a lot of that was down to Branding in the US market, but as I recall at the time, Walker was either injured or just not performing and we then brought in Trippier. Yedlin has serious pace to burn and from what I have seen is a decent crosser, so perhaps 'keep and use further forward' might be the best option.
Yedlin has played on the wing for the US national team on a couple of occasions and he doesn't do well there. His latest attempt was in their recent 2-0 loss to Guatemala, who'd never beaten them in World Cup qualifiers before. He was heavily criticised all round, unfortunately. His best bet is to go on another loan to a Premier League side, I think. If he can maintain a regular place and improve dramatically on the defensive aspects of his game, then he might have a chance. I suspect that he may be moved on, though.
