So you hate Bruce for not going up against Ashley, but you'll take Nolan who's on several occasions come out saying how great Mike ashley is?
Is all the stuff about Bruce sucking upto Ashley just a smokescreen for something then?

It makes zero sense for nufc fans (in general) to persecute Bruce for not saying Ashley's a **** to then want Nolan who's repeatedly told them Ashley's great.

First and foremost, Nolan played for the club and in the years since Ashley came in took part in two of the best seasons we've had in that tenure. He also scored a hattrick against Sunderland in a ****ing incredible game. He was, overall, a good captain. I think it was in part Nolan pulling the dressing room together when Pardew came in that saw us beat Liverpool 3-1 at home.
Steve Bruce is a stranger to the club, the fans, has been a Sunderland manager where he claimed he was a huge fan, is in fact a Man U fan, has a terrible relationship with the fans (it wasn't always like that btw, it's self created) and now doesn't take his job seriously. He goes on holiday while every single team in the league is training.
so, they both have the same opinion on Mike Ashley, but have completely different histories with the football club.
I'd rather Nolan be honest and say what he thinks about the owner than pretend he hates him for fake fan clout.
Munson will obviously understand none of this
The two are not linked. I hate Bruce because of the way he is. His who character. Can’t stand him.
Nolan I liked. I don’t care if he is mates with Ashley he would still not take ****. In fact he would be more likely to get things for us as he would speak to him. Not just jump when Ashley says how high.
Ashley doesn't even run the club

As @Welshie said Nolan was a good captain and person to have at the club. He was also a firm fan favourite who gave 100%.
I would take Nolan over Bruce any day of the week because I want something different.

i was just saying I think there's a reason people can get a pass for one mistake and others dont get a pass for making the same mistake.
every situation is different for both logical and emotional reasons.
Hughes will replace bruce in two games time.
