Provided that the match is a nothing match, blood some of the youngsters and have some ready to come on after 60 minutes or so. I wanna see the next generation from the superstar factory.
 
He is targetting an 8th place finish I'm sure so its very much business as usual I suspect. I think pre season is the time to start blooding the next bunch of youngsters.
 
Strong team with Forren and Mayuka given a game or two to prove themselves and stick a youngster or two on the bench. Also give Lambert tha ball the whole time as I have an each way bet on him to be top scorer
 
Look at this trend. I know where we're heading:

If the season had just been the last 16 games for each team, we'd be 8th
If the season had just been the last 14 games for each team, we'd be 8th
If the season had just been the last 12 games for each team, we'd be 8th
If the season had just been the last 10 games for each team, we'd be 6th
If the season had just been the last 8 games for each team, we'd be 9th
If the season had just been the last 6 games for each team, we'd be 5th

He'll not take his foot off the accelerator - I think we'll play full strength teams all the way in to get us to our rightful place in the top ten.

I am sure we will try and get as high up the league as possible for the following:
1) with £755k per place, the cash is vital to help support our summer spending spree
2) we will appear more attractive to prospective new recruits if we say we finished 10th than 16th. We would sound more plausible saying we are chasing a Euro spot coming from 10th than just finishing above the relegation zone
3) winning is a habit and finishing on a high will take us through to the start of next season

1. That small amount can be key-Cork only cost 750k. ;)
2. True, look at how Swansea and Fulham were linked with, as previously said, our own Jack Cork and how challenging for Europe can help entice players.
3. There's only four games left, but form does mean a lot. Sunderland finished poorly last season and that continued this season, as did Bolton the year before.
 
We ought to be playing our strongest side every single game until the rest of the season. I'd like us to finish as high as we can, no ****ing around. If you get complacence in this league it can end in tears very quickly. We've not beaten Spurs, West Brom, Stoke or Sunderland this season. We've taken 1 point off them combined so far. So we should be playing our best team.
 
Seriously hope that Godders and Vin are right about us trying right until the end!

Oh, and a cheeky wee 'buy' on our total points @ 35.5 on 2nd Jan (Pld 20, 4W-6D-10L, 18 pts). Milky bars are on me if we can pull it off! ;-)
