What position do you think is our biggest single point of weakness right now?

Pretty obvious one for me. At present it is undoubtedly the number 10/playmaker. We have fallen to pieces since selling Cabaye. Clearly those notes from the forum tell us the club are aware of the mistake they made was not having an in house replacement for him, typically a younger player who could have seen us through to the summer. Its left us completely disjointed and ****ed up our whole system. We finally had a defined way of playing, one that worked. I accept Cabaye had to go but its indicative of how poorly we are run in terms of giving a manager resources that we failed to provide him with an adequate set of resources to play the way we wanted come what may.

I imagine we will sign one in the summer but we will have a whole set of problems by then. I expect to lose Remy and Debuchy. LDJ is only on loan (though I'd be keen to have him on board). Is Colo staying? We need to offload the likes of Obertan, Jonas, HBA and Marveaux. So a minimum of two wingers will be needed. We alos need shot of Cisse and Shola. Potentially we have young Campbell and Armstrong as strikers!! They should be your 4th and 5th choice.

We can take a few from the youth ranks to plug some of the back up holes. The likes of Tav, Abeid, Campbell, Armstrong, Bigi, Kemen, Streete, Newton, Sameobi. Really though, if that is the plan we are planning for a relegation battle. Essentially I think it will be difficult to pinpoint a weakness come the summer, there will be so many!

 

Selling your best player is one thing, but selling him without having a ready made replacement is absolutely ridiculous.

I think we currently have strong players in the team who can battle with the best squads out there. All we need is a well-versed leader/manager that will effectively use all his men's talents - week in and week out.

IMO, if Manchester United fail to win against Olimpiacos in the return leg, the board should take over and sack Moyes before it's too late.
