It was a sledgehammer to crack a nut. Suffice it to say, he's not good enough to play for us as has been demonstrated by 3 different managers. This is getting like Ipswich, living in the past, he's gone, we move on!
Well said Dave and I suspect it was more to do with the fact we mostly play with a lone striker and that didn't allow Hooper much game time.
