A brianesk translation; 'If you ask me and I should know he,s only here becos Adam,s not a yogurt basher. If you ask me he,s already left stage left an you,re looking for a reason why?' Alternatively he's just talking sh ite.
Love the Len Shackleton reference. In his Autobiography " Clown Prince Of Soccer" a chapter was entiled 'Average Directors Knowledge of Football". When you reached that chapter it consisted of a single blank page. Well, he was a straight talking Yorkshire lad!
thank you mystic meg or is it septic peg. this is just typical of how news and speculations gets out of control all the time.
If people are overlooking it, it's possibly because it was old news when it was first muted that there were differences in approach in the early days of the relationship and unfortunately for out of date hacks,it looks like they were to some degree solvable. It'd be more newsworthy and less believable if two successful individuals with strong personalities got on like a house on fire.
I dont think he would come. But it wouldnt surprise me if he did come back. I would be happy if he came but i would prefer Martin O'Neill or Mark Hughes, both are still possibility's Nigel would be my 3rd choice after them but i would be delighted with any of them
Yeah Martin O'Neill, Mark Hughes or my front runner would be David Moyes. That's if were keeping realistic of course.. Unrealistically, Alex Ferguson, Roberto Mancini, Jose Mourinho, Villas-Boas, Fabio Capello Ok maybe not the last one
It could, but that would be the wrong way to interpret it since it's coming from a person who's been playing down the chances of NP leaving in the first place.
I know for definite that Adam doesn't get on with the Allams, however I have no idea if Nigel does or not.
People are misinterpreting what I said - I didn't say he doesn't like them, I said he wants nothing to do with them. He wants the buffer (Adam) between him and the owners. He doesn't want to work without that buffer.
Bum_Chinned_Crab You have been around these forums long enough to know that a statement of "Trust me" is going to court fans into wanting some thing with a bit more foundation and facts sir. You should state what you know or it may be better in the future to say nothing.
I know what you're saying but if youve also been around long enough then ask yourself this - when it comes to, and I'm loathe to use the term, "inside knowledge", how often have I been wrong? Off the top of my head the only one I can recall was when I said after the second injury that Ash would never kick a ball again. I got that one wrong but in my defence all the suggestion internally at the time was it was very bloody likely to be the case. Im not the attention seeker type am I?
