It´s all gone very quiet
Since Robson got the shove,
Leaving our two to ply it
Without help from above,
But surely it is needed
To aid our novice pair,
Or will it go unheeded
The place that now is bare,
I hope it is not a sign
That we now feel content,
With our lot, as they define
Our course from here to Lent,
My bones may just be fooling
But this feeling I have,
That PL life is cooling
With McNally´s enclave,
With vultures circling above
Very soon we should know,
If any assets will move
When January sales show,
This year is still our best chance
To return whence we came,
So hopefully our board´s stance
Is very much the same,
And if they feel in safe hands
With Adams and Holt G,
For the sake of all us fans
Then success let it be,
But if they feel an older
And wiser head, aboard
Might be a useful shoulder
To lean on, I´d applaud,
And if so, then don´t delay
Each week that does go past,
Gets one closer to next May
And soon they will go fast. OTBC
