And I think you should be because you have very smart owners coming from a game (baseball) which has worked our the finances of sport better than any other sport in the world. You will succedd. You have done amazingly well clearing out the deadwood. But I dont think downing, caroll and adam are good enough. Better to sell them or buy in better and have them as rotation players
If we look at the present Arsenal side and ask "which players would you want in your side" I could only come up with 1. It matters not if Arsenal have deadwood. It matters not that they managed a win against Spurs. They remain a poor side.
For us to claim 4th place we need to utilise the strengths of our SQUAD so that we improve our home performances and stop our habit of dropping points to 'lesser' sides. It's as simple as that.
All the sides are now in a 'come as you are' position. I truly believe that we have quality players who so far this season have been lightly used.
