I think arguments about Norwich filling their ground to a higher percentage than Leeds are unfair.

We all forget the fact the average wage in the North is 5/6d per week yet Bates charges £42 for an under 12 in the family area.

I think Marching on Together is one of my biggest prides in Leeds United, always raises a smile when it goes off as my ringtone :)

Always makes my hair stand on end as the team comes out for a big game.
Nearly got me in trouble the odd time, when my ringtone started playing when in the middle of other fans.<doh>:emoticon-0116-evilg

Makes me feel proud to be Leeds. I'm not condoning attacks on their players, but on our day, we can be one of the most passionate/intimidating sets of fans in Western Europe.

They're great at having inflatable hats, an awfully bizarre song and fully grown adults with face paint.

    16th April 2011. Leeds v Watford.

Sitting next to my 7 year old son a few minutes before his first game at Elland Road.

The crowd start singing as the tannoy plays "Marching on Together". I looked down to see my lad belting it out word for word, pitch perfect at the top of his voice. I'm not ashamed to say it brought a tear to my eye.

Of all the times, through all the years supporting the mighty LUFC I think that was simply the best moment of the lot.

I'm proud because after every disappointment, every time we ever drop stupid points, every time a bloody useless owner kicks us in the teeth, every time I'm overcharged for ANYTHING leeds related, every poor excuse after a bad performance, everytime it all goes wrong... I look around, and there are thousands of devoted fellow whites all around going through the same broad b**tard spectrum of emotions, and you know what, we wouldn't want to be anywhere else in the world!
