There you go then Trevor. The softest softball interview you are ever going to hear. The valuation he places on assets he picked up from Rangers for £5.5m begs the question how he managed to pick up those assets for that amount? Why the **** wasn't that very blatantly obvious question asked?
Green seems confident of all the documentation which will be made public to prove Whyte wrong. Have to believe Green at this point surely? I thought he spoke well and wasn't once flustered by any questions. Maybe that's down to the reporter
Trevor, 'obsession' was bandied about a few years ago by Rangers fans. 'Kerryfail accountants' was another. The thing is, the Celtic fans were asking more questions about what was happening at Rangers than Rangers fans were. They were still acquiesed by Minty and his grand plans for £700 million casino-domes. Rangers fans spent their time complaining about the BBC, Graham Speirs and Coronation Street whilst their club was dying in front of them and they did nothing. Four years it was up for sale and not one of them organised a fan's buy-out, nor did the more well-healed Rangers supporters put their hand into their pockets. You can use all the 'obsession' tactics you want, but the fact remains that your club's ills were highlighted by Celtic fans and they were right all along. The fact also remains that your club died on your watch, whilst you were too busy criticising other people's 'obsession.' Maybe if you and the rest of the Rangers supporters got a bit 'obsessed' you might still have 140 years of history, rather than a role of honour that doesn't include an away win in the bottom tier of Scottish football.
I'd rather be obsessed and my team still fit, healthy and alive rather than bury my head in the sand and watch them die slowly.
"Caught up" in it? This was a thread about Celtic and I certainly never brought Green or Whyte into this, other people decided to alter the course of this thread.
If you are going to quote me please don't go all Medro and "Quote Mine" and change the context, I know you are noted for failing to read what you preceive to be "Long Winded" paragraphs but your quote in isolation changes the whole context of what I actually said. For example you left out "I have read the same opinions in the past from Celtic fans" . Besides, I never mentioned Whyte nor Green nor did I try and change the subject. That would be you and MD and Edge who did that.
We contradicted part of the OP. You saying "nor thought about lashing out at people who I perceived to be "Enemies" of Celtic" is ****ing laughable and had to be brought up It was Venom who brought up Whyte for reasons known only to himself
Sounds as if you are slightly paranoid, you are seeing digs where there are none and as for venom bringing up Whyte, that was a counter to you and Edge attempting to highjack the thread, maybe you should look back and you will see that i,m right. This was an open invitation to Celtic fans and Rangers fans to give us their thoughts on what it means to be a "fan" of their club, surprisingly no Rangers fan could be bothered. All you have seen is another trap where no trap exists.
What is under criminal investigation, David Murray's sale or Whyte's purchase or could it be both. Someone said last night that Whyte blinked regularly as he was telling lies. That is different to David Murray and Charlie Green, they only tell lies every time their lips move. Dev, in all honesty, its not possible for them to say. Rangers are dead and it would seem to be a bit morbid to be a fan of the dead and buried. Sevco is so new, with no history, far too soon for anyone to become a fan, like you are talking about Rangers who were fans until they die, or the club die, they have to demonstrate a respectful mourning period of say five or six years. This may coincide with Sevco's return to the SPL.
